Introduction

• Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple is a Hindu temple located in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
• It is listed in the Malaysian Book of Records as the first and only glass temple in the country.

• Sri Sinnathamby Sivasamy, who inherited the temple from his father, was inspired by glass artwork he saw during a tuk-tuk ride and decided to renovate the temple entirely with glass.
• The temple is covered with 300,000 pieces of multicolored glass and hundreds of thousands of glass beads.
• The temple features statues of various deities, including Gautama Buddha and Mother Teresa.
• After a US$1 million renovation, the temple reopened in 2009 with the glass architecture.
