Introduction

Amarambedu Kariyamanika Perumal Temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu, located in the Amarambedu, Kundarthur taluk, Chennai district, Tamil Nadu. This ancient Kariyamanikaperumal temple is a Small temple without any maintenance for many years. Here the presiding deity is called as Kariyamanika Perumal. The temple is under the control of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. The temple remains closed without performing even a single pooja. This ancient temple is in a state of collapse due to trees growing on the tower. The walls and roof of the sabha mandapa had been lost completely.
