Introduction

This Aadakeswara temple is located inside the Thyagaraja Temple, Thiruvarur district, Tamli Nadu. This Shrine is considered as one of the Thevara Vaippu Sthalam. This Shrine had been mentioned in one of Appar Hymns. This Shrine is situated on the southern prakaram. This Shrine is called as Nagapilam or Aadakeswaram. Presiding Deity is called as Aadakeswarar. There is no Goddess for this Lord. He is gracing the devotees in Panchatchara form (formless form). The Temple is believed to be 1500 years old shiva temple.
