Introduction
Mayiladuthurai – The village next to Cholampet on Kallanai Road is north of the street in the overhead reservoir on the Vanathirajapuram main road. One of the big stadiums facing east is the Brahma Ganapati Monastery which encloses the facade of the temple. The reason for this is not known. Vamana became known as Vamana Rajapuram as he stayed in this town, bathed in the Kaveri and performed tapas for a few days. The place where Lord Shiva worshiped Lord Shiva and received a thousand hands. The name of the bathing stage in this town is Panathirtham. The lingam he worshiped was called Panalingam. For this reason it was called Panathirajapuram. Kanchi Bhadrakolan was born and baptized in this city by the grace of Satyashada Rishi. Therefore, if Lakshmi Narayan Panalingam anoints them on Krishnapaksham Chaturdasi, they will get great blessings. Brahmapuriswarar, Subramaniyar and Panapuriswarar shrines at the back of the Ganapati temple facing east Adjacent to it are the south and south sides of the Palambigai sanctum sanctorum. Sanders is on the north side of the separate sanctuary. To the northeast is the small bhairavar. To the north of the temple is a large pond. To the south of the temple alone stands a large Nandi facing west. It is said that this Nandi is facing the Lord towards the east in Thiruaipadi. # “With the kind permission of Sri Kadambur K.
