Introduction

Udri is a Village in Sorab Taluk in Shimoga District of Karnataka State, India. It belongs to Bangalore Division. This ancient temple is dedicated to the couple god Lakshmi Narashima. Though the temple was simple in architecture, the idol of the deities was quite intricate resembling Hoysala style of artwork. The temple is under the ASI control. Its seems the temple is not even taken care by surrounded village people. Its surrounded with trees and algae. There are no poojas taken place here, it shows the idols simply in the stone house.
