Introduction

There is also one abandoned Siva temple on the banks of Palar river in Angampakkam village. Here Swamy is called Sri Uraneeswarar. One big size Ambal statue is also near sanctum sanctorum. In a stone mandapam Nandhi idol is seen in front of the temple. The temple structure is of brick and in state of fragile condition. It appears that no one coming here for worship.
