Introduction

From Tiruthani hills, back side of the murugan temple this Sri Saraswathiswarar temple is located. There is a pond to the left after descending through the steps directly behind the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Only one time puja is held here. This is a later dedication. Some of the priests there worship the shiva lingam as a tribal deity. Saraswati is seen as the main source. The other deity Ganesha, Murugan and Vishnu are found, but not adequately maintained. There are houses of priests around. Village people are not take care of this temple.
