Cuddalore District – Tittakkudi – Orangur is a village on the western border of Cuddalore district. Here is an ancient Shiva temple of Chola period characterized by majestic construction facing east. The temple serves as the sanctum sanctorum. The temple has only the foundation of the Rajagopuram cons. The walls are crumbling. The temple is in utter ruins. The goddess alone has the temple facing east. There are separate shrines for Ganesha, and Murugan . Since the village is at the back of the temple, the temple is being used as a toilet .
