Introduction

Kavirikarai Kasiviswanathar Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The temple is located in the Moovalur Village, Mayiladuthurai Circle, Mayiladuthurai District. To the north of this Shiva temple is a Cauvery River. The primary deity is called as Kasiviswanathar. Adjacent to this is the Viswanathar Temple to the east. There are some Snakes under the big royal tree nearby the temple. The Lord and Ganesha are facing east. At the back of this shiva temple, Durga temple is located.
