Introduction
Bilasgarh, situated 45 Km away from the town of Baran in Rajasthan was once a famous well-developed city, but was destroyed on the orders of Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb. Kakuni is well known for its ancient temples. Located 85 Km from the town of Baran in Rajasthan and, situated on the banks for the Parvan River. The Kakuni Temple Complex houses temples dedicated to Jain and Vaishnava gods and Lord Shiva, and some of them date back to the 8th century. The temple is completely ruins in state. There is big lingam in centre of the complex. Many idols from Kakuni temples, have been preserved in museums at Kota and Jhalawar. The place is completely destroyed by Mughal emperor.
