Introduction

Honnatti is a Village in Ranebennur Taluk in Haveri District of Karnataka State, India. It belongs to Belgaum Division. It is located 30 KM towards East from District head quarters Haveri. Sri Ramalingeshwara temple, now in ruins is an east facing trikuta dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of a linga in all the three garbhagrihas. The temple consists of 3 garbhagrihas (of which one is completely ruined) with 3 antaralas and a navaranga with a mukhamandapa. The temple is Kalyani Chalukyas dynasty in 12th century.
