Introduction

This Shiva temple is located in the village of Cheyyur in the Chengalpattu district. This ancient Shiva Koil is surrounded by trees. The Lord sits with Nandi Bhagavan in the shade of a tree in the open air. There is no other deity. There are no indications that the temple existed. There is one pond in front of the Lord. The temple is far away from the village. So the people of the village came to the temple and left without doing poojas. Some poojas will conduct on special days.
