Introduction

Vaiyangudi Pasupatheeswarar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Vaiyangudi village, Tittagudi circle, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. This small village is surrounded by blooming cotton, the village is silent except for the sound of the corn being plucked and the sheaves drying and rustling in the wind. This temple is standing without visitors. Here the lord is undressed and hideous. Nandi is opposite to the lord. Pashupateeswarar is sitting on the south side; there is no way to get around the colourful Dukaruvara, which goes up to Pashupateeswarar Karuvara. He is in Lingotpavaramadapam. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old.
