There is Arthamandapam and Mahamandapam before the Lord. Nandi Mandapam is located directly outside the Mahamandapam. Lord Unnamulayamma is in the Standing Posture, facing south. His hall is connected to Mahamandapam. Karurai Kottam has Vinayagar Tenmukan Durga. In the north-east is the Navagraga mandapam.
Puranic Significance
This village has two ancient temples namely Chidambareswarar varadanarayanaperumal. This Perumal temple is one of the Panchanarayana Kshetras. Both the temples are said to be 1200 years old. But due to lack of maintenance, they fell into disrepair and it is not possible to recognize how they were before. The most famous of the temple is the Kalyanasundara Murthy in Thirumancheri. The Lord and the Goddess have a beautiful form that gives darshan to those who come as bridegroom in the wedding circle. Those who seek the blessings of marriage and children can come here and offer prayers to this Lord.
