Introduction

Sri Lakshmi Narayana Venugopal Swamy Temple is located in the Coimbatore district, Tamilnadu. The temple is located in a large shopping mall in Coimbatore. It is special that there are two Perumal in the same sanctum sanctorum of the temple. This temple is also known as the Keradi Temple. The temple faces south and the deity faces south. The chakratazhvar is located towards the east and the Hayakkirivar towards the west. There are also shrines of Andal, Hanuman, Chakratahlvar, Garuda, Ramanujar.

Puranic Significance

The temple was built by the King of Mysore in the 1700s for the worship of his bodyguards. Perumal is special as it faces south next to Srirangam. It is unique to have two sources in the same sanctuary. Lakshmi Narayan and Venugopal Swamy are the sources.
