Introduction

                Senninatham Chenniswarar Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva, Located in the Senninatham village, Chidambaram circle, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. Presiding deity is called as Chenniswarar. It is a single sanctum Shiva temple. Lord Chenniswarar is facing east. At the front there is a mandapam and in front of the Lord there is a Nandi. There is no holy shrine or any other shrines in the temple. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old.
