Introduction

Travel on the Vellore-Arcot National Highway, turn right at the lock junction and proceed for 5 km on the road to Melakuppam, located in the village of Saranankuppam Halfway across the coconut grove at the foot of the Jain Hill, on a rock at the foot of the hill, a Jain cave was found half way to the Palladuku Jain beds. There was no sunlight in the area. The climb continued through the sidewalk changing stairs. The last stage is at the top of the hill by the stairs carved by the Jains on a very large rock. Rocks are found in many shapes around the top of the mountain.
