Introduction

Gurdwara Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib- is a gurdwara or Sikh temple situated in the Rasul Nagar village in the district of Gujranwala in the Indian State of Punjab, Pakistan. Rasul Nagar is a historic town which is referred in history by the name of Ram Nagar. It is situated on the left bank of River Chenab in Tehsil Wazirabad of Gujranwala district. A Gurdwara of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji displays its splendor inside this town. A small Darbar has been built. The top is a beautiful dome and the floor is done in marble. Now the entire Gurdwara is in ruins state. Verses of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib are written on the walls. The right hand door of the Gurdwara opens into a big garden which is a part of this darbar. Guru Hargobind came to this place from Wazirabad and had graced Hafizabad after leaving this place. The top of the Gurdwara was burnt in 1992 when lightning struck the dome of this Darbar during the monsoon.
