Introduction
Radhanallur Shiva Temple is located in the Radhanallur village, Thiruvarur circle, Thiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu. The south of Thiruvarur, and two km further west of it through Poosalangudi road to Radhanallur. Radhanallur village is situated to the north of Velliyar River. This Shiva temple is situated on the banks of a pond, separate from the town. This is the new temple built after the destruction of the old temple. Sanctuaries have been created for both the east facing lord and the south facing goddess. A hall is arranged to connect the two sanctuaries.
The temple is said to be more than 1300 years old. Vinayaka and Balamurugan are in the lofts at the Lord gate. Nandi is arranged as a small hall in the front hall. There are no structures around the temple. Around the sanctum sanctorum, four linga murthys are placed separately outside the temple. Prayers are held for a time. If those who spend a lot of money and build the temple write the name of this Lord, it will help the people to know.
