Introduction

Pu. Adivaraganallur Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Located in the Pu. Adivaraganallur village, Chidambaram circle, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu. Pu. Adivaraganallur village is located 5 km on the Bhuvanagiri – Pu Mudlur road. After the old Shiva temple got destroyed, only the lingamurthy was taken from it and the temple was built. The Lord is a medium-sized lingam. On a high platform in front of the Lord is the beautiful Nandi. Only Lord and Nandi are ancient. A small shrine is set up towards the south as a deity. Karurai include Tenmugan, Lingodbhava and Durga. Here the Lord name is unknown. Those who spend lakhs and build temples leave the Lord’s name unwritten. The Temple is believed to be 500- 1000 years old.
