Introduction
Orchha Radhika Vihari Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, located in the Orchha town, Niwari district, Madhya Pradesh.
Puranic Significance
This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was constructed during the reign of Maharaja Vir Singh (from 1605 to 1624). such a magnificent and classical ancient temple was in ruins and neglected. The east-facing temple was built by the ruler of Orchha, Veer Singh Bundela who ruled from 1605-1624 AD. The ground plan of the temple consists of the sanctum, the antarala and the mandapa. The interior plan includes Nagara style altars, walls, oriels and Shikharas.
