Puranic Significance
Somayasimara Nayar had the desire to do somayagam. Lord Shiva wanted to come to the temple in person. In order to call upon the Lord directly, he thought that his friend should receive the friendship of Sundarar first. Knowing that Sundara was very fond of Ambassador spinach, Somasimarakar sent Ambassador spinach to him daily. Sundarar does not know who to send it to. But, the chain of wife knows who gives her spinach. Sundarar came to visit the man who gave the greens. Somasi then changed and begged Sundarar to bring the Lord to his sacrifice. Sundarar agreed and asked the Lord, Lord, to come to the Yagasi month in the star of the Oil Star. Coming directly to the Lord, the sacrament, the sage, the saints, the saros, the people of many parts of the country, performed well. Lord Shiva transformed the four Vedas into four dogs and transformed them like Nisan to carry a dead calf. Goddess Parvati came with her to the bar with her head. Pillai and Murugan came with them. Unbeknownst to them, the chemists fled because they thought there was something wrong with the yagna. Nisan was saddened that he had come with his family at a time when Somasimara Nayaka was expecting that the Lord would come. Soon, Ganesha appeared in his self-image to Somasima and his wife and realized that Lord Shiva was present. The delighted Somasimarama made a special offering to Lord Shiva, Tyagaraja. Thyagaraja also left the nihilism and made him one of the Naymanas by displaying Somasimara as Parvati Samadhar.
