Introduction
Nattarpatti Amaravati is an Amman Temple, located in the Nattarpatti village, in Tenkasi district, Tamil Nadu. Here the goddess called as Amaravati thayar. The Temple is believed to be 500 years old. On the Tenkasi -Tirunelveli road, there is Amaravathi Amman temple at Nattarpatti.
Puranic Significance
500 years ago when an idol of Amman Amaravati was transported in a bullock cart, the bullock cart stopped at one place when it reached this area. So, realizing that the goddess wanted to build a temple here, they built the roof of the place and consecrated the goddess Amaravati, and information says that when the earth was dug for agricultural work, an idol of the goddess Amaravathi was found as Swayambu and the temple was built after consecration.

Devotees worship her as the remover of their grievances, the fulfiller of wishes and the preserver of health.

Festivals
The festival is held for three days in the month of Tai (January). Special pujas are held on Tuesdays, Fridays and last Fridays of the Tamil month.
