Introduction
1000 years old Shiva temple found in Manaspuri Village, Kandhar Taluka of Nanded, in Maharashtra (Gangaprasad Yannawar) While doing farming in the Shivaar of Manaspuri village near Kandhar city, Nanded the ancient Shiva temple was seen in a state underground, it was inaugurated as it was found to be a grand village of Mahadeva along with a Huge Grab Garhe. On 1 March 2017, people started digging with help of JCB. As soon as stones were removed from the place, and bit of Sand were removed from the area below it people found Whole temples Area. The Shivalinga was found with approx 4×4 dimensions and 8×8. There were beautiful carvings on the wall of temple. It is clearly visible that the saffron (red color) has been applied inside and outside. The temple was completely buried under the ground. Also beside the same temple 100-foot-tall statue of Kshetrapala was found, it is said that there were ancient large ponds in the same area, but today this place seems to have a large flat ground. Either this temple was buried at that time and ponds nearby were destroyed.
