Introduction

 Keezhakannapur Pasupatheeswarar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Located in the Keezhakannapur village, Thiruvarur circle, Thiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu. It is a small Shiva temple, facing east, with shrines of Lord Pasupateeswarar, Lord Parvathvarthini, Lord towards east and mother towards south side in the temple. There is a medium-sized lingamurthi in the sanctum. Among Sanctum sanctorum are Tenmugan and Durga are there.The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.
