Introduction
Keelakorukkai Nagalingeswarar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Located in the Keelakorukkai village, Kumbakonam circle, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu. Keelakorukkai village is located next to Kumbakonam. The Lord is seated in solitude under the towering Nagalinga tree; East facing Lord Nagalingeswarar is located in south facing temple Abhirami. There is Nandi and a small flagpole in front of the Lord. On one side of the Lord is Ganesha and on the other side is a sage with an Uttiraksha garland in his hand. Navagrahas are in a single row from north to south. There are Naga idols on a platform. The tree is full of nagalinga flowers. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old.
