Introduction

The 1100year old temple is located in the village of Indalur in the Cheyyur circle of Kanchipuram district. Sri Manapuriswarar has risen as the source in the stone temple with the flagpole. Ambal Thirunam Sri Kailayartha Kanni. The temple was built during the Pallava period. It is currently being renovated with a 5 level royal tower. The shrines here are Dwara Ganapati, Balamurugan, Kanni Moola Ganapati, Murugan with Goddesses Vallidevasena, Chandikeswarar, Bairavar, Nalvar and Navagraha. Puja is taking place. Beliefs

PARIKARA STHALAM: For the marriage to take place, one has to take two garlands to the Swami and take one of them home. Once married the couple should come and anoint the Lord and light the ghee lamp.
