Introduction

The temple has 15 acres of paddy land. It is located on the banks of the river dharapuram in the Tirupur district. The temple was established during the reign of Mathuvakula Mahan Vyasaraj. Now the temple is completely dilapidated. The basement of this Shiva temple has sunk and is buried in the sand. The trees are growing around the temple and the branches are into the temple. The primary deity is lord shiva, no other deity. The temple is the center of the paddy field so the village people no one takes care of the shiva. No other poojas are conducted here. This shiva temple is nearby the Amaravathi River.
