                                Gunman Talab Shiva Temple is dedicated to the Lord Shiva located in Barsur Town in Dantewada District in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

The Shiva Temple mentioned is a unique and picturesque site, situated in the middle of Gunman Talab Lake, which spans across eight acres. Due to the continuous presence of water throughout the year in the lake, the temple can only be accessed by boat. Presently, this temple serves as a resting place for birds, adding to its natural charm and tranquility. As previously mentioned, the name Barsur is believed to have originated from the word Balsuri, which later evolved into Barsurgarh. The temple’s location falls along the Jagdalpur to Bhopalpatnam route, making it a distinct and serene destination for those who venture to visit. Its remote and peaceful setting amidst the lake provides a unique and tranquil spiritual experience.
