Due to the continuous presence of water throughout the year in the lake, the temple can only be accessed by boat. As previously mentioned, the name Barsur is believed to have originated from the word Balsuri, which later evolved into Barsurgarh. The temple’s location falls along the Jagdalpur to Bhopalpatnam route, making it a distinct and serene destination for those who venture to visit.
