Introduction

This temple is dedicated to lord Shiva, located in Alangulam, 10 km from Addalaichenai in the Ampara district of Sri Lanka. This dilapidated shiva temple must have been very prosperous at one time. But now the temple is in a state of disrepair. Tree plants occupy the entire temple. So the tree root has gone into the wall and brought the architecture to ruin. No one seems to care about this temple which is in a very bad condition. The temple is on the verge of destruction due to change of time.
