Introduction
The name ‘Kondal Vannan Gudi’, the place of worship of Lord Vishnu who came with Lord Shiva to listen to his teachings. ‘Kondal Vannan Gudi’ means Maruvi; When the town was divided into two, it was called Kondal-Valluvakudi.
