Thiruperuman Andar Temple, Pudukottai Madathukkoyil or Thiruperuman Andar Koil. 38 km from Pudukkottai. In the distance is the Kulathur circle. This is a Chola temple. The Chola built the forecourt with black stones and the Vijayanagara kings built the inner hall with red stone. Architecture and sculpture express the complete artistic flair. Inscriptions from the Chola and Pandya period have been found. It looks completely shattered. Plants and buds have sprouted.
