Introduction

Thirumalpur, Konar Temple belongs to 9th Century built by Parantaka This temple is maintained by ASI. There is a big temple by Parantaga I at Thirumalpur Village called, Sri Manigandeswarar just 1km away. 3 km from Thirumalpur Railway Station. There is nothing in the sanctuary inside. Puranic Significance

1300 years old. The first is the stone temple built during the ParantakaChola period.In the sanctum sanctorum faade of the temple, there is a dome at each corner and a flag and a lunar zone.
