Introduction

T.Manalur temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the T.Manalur village, in Kattumannarkoil circle, Cuddalore district, Tamilnadu. During the Chola period, the region was known as Ka-Nadu-Mannanargudi, Later is known as Kattumannargudi. Here is a small shrine near the roadside pond, which was later demolished and left unmaintained and now the lord is in the small Sanctum. The Lord and Murugan are facing east side of Sanctum in a separate shrine. Ganesha is under a tree. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. “With the kind permission of Sri Kadambur K.
