Introduction

The temple is located in the village of Siruvangunam in the Cheyyur taluk in the Kanchipuram circle. It is 8 km from cheyyur. The 1000year old temple dates back to the Nawab period. Poojas have been going on for the past year with the present. Kochanga Nayanar Thirukkuttam shed. On the outside Somaskanda and around them are the deities Nandiyam Perumal. Similarly, on the north side, there are three embossments. Poojas are performed twice in the village temple by a priest named Ezhumalai. Pradosham and Shivaratri are celebrated here.
