Introduction

Kumbakonam- Pattiswaram- Avur- Payari is a small and beautiful village located on the edge of the main Road. The place where the sun is worshiped is named as Kodi Suryaprakasar. Ambika’s name is Nagambika without mukha mandapam, the small hall-like structure is in front of the Lord. The Lord is facing east and Ambika is facing south. Among the temples are Selvavinayagar, Murugan, Valli Deivana and Mahalakshmi. To the northeast are Saturn and the Sun Small Linga Panam.
