This is the place where Nandanar sat and listened to the sound of the Sikanti full bell. Opposite the South Tower is Sirkazhi Road, next to Pachaiyappan School is Mannargudi Street. Turn right on this street for about 200 meters and turn left at Sengkattan Street for 100 meters. On the right hand side, there is a Ganesha temple facing east, in front of which is a five feet wide alley. This place is almost to the south of Thillai Natarajar which is why Nandanar may have settled in this place. The temple is built entirely of beautiful brick, with no front tower, with the Nandanar sanctum in the center and the surrounding enclosure. It has three windows on one side and occupations on all four sides although the good people have kept the temple from being damaged in any way. It is said that a priest is coming to pray now.
