Introduction

The temple of Lord Malleswara Swami, atop the Mallappa Konda hillock in Gudupalle mandal of Kuppam division, bordering Karnataka and having close proximity to Tamil Nadu, remains the location for people of the three States, during mass festivals like the Maha Sivaratri and the Karthika Deepotsavam. Small hill top Shiva temple old and ancient temple which is less known and less visited place. This shiva temple is ruins. The primary deity is lord Malleswara swami. No other deity. Poojas are conducted only on festivals. There is a pond near the temple.
