Introduction

Kandakumaran Shiva Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva, located in the Kandakumaran village, Kattumannarkoil circle, Cuddalore district, Tamilnadu… The old Shiva temple was fully ruined. Only the Ganesha and the lingam are now placed in a small shed under a tree and worshiped. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Coming from Kattumannarkoil via Veeranamkarai to Kandakumaran, the road goes down from the bank to Chidambaram via Puthur.
