His parents named him Krishnamurthy. Today, the largest 1000year-old Lakshmi Ganesar temple worshiped by the saint in the village of Kalpattu is in ruins. The temple is located here and houses the shrines of Lakshmi Ganesar, Kedareshwarar, Lakshminarasimhar, Sitaramalatsumana, Hanuman and Swayamprakasa Avadutha Swami. The Village People are now working together to rebuild the Ganesha temple, which was worshiped by the incomparable Avadutha Mahan, as if the Avadutha Mahan had brought Tiruvallam to be renovated.
