Introduction

Gangadharpuram is located 2 km next to Swamimalai on the Thiruvaiyaru-Kumbakonam road. Sthalam is a beautiful Kavirikarai village with a temple dedicated to the Ganges on the north bank. There is an Ayyanar temple on the main road. On the street opposite also one Ganesha Temple. Lord Shiva also resides in the temple for Ganesha The temple faces east.
