Introduction

Ambalakunnu SivaParvathi temple is located in Ambalakunnu Village, Kavanur, Malappuram, Kerala. The entire temple including Garbagriha was destroyed during the Tipu invasion. Devotees of the locality have been trying hard for the restoration of the temple since 2008. Here the primary deity is Lord Shiva and his consort is Parvathi. No other deity. Even no poojas taken place here. This Shiva temple is completely dilapidated condition. This temple was completely destroyed during the invasion of the Tipu era.
