Introduction

From Kanchipuram, Perumbakkam this Aadhi eeasan kovil is located. The temple is 1000 years old Shiva temple. There is an Adhi Shiva Linga, And the Nandi on the front side under the clutches of peepal tree’s roots. The construction of the new Shiva temple was stopped. The temple is facing east with a sanctum and a front open mandapam. Aadhi Eeasan is below the presiding deity. Murugan and Vinayagar Sannadhis are on the backside of the temple. A Temple Pond is also on the backside of the Temple. The temple complex consists of a Shiva temple and an unfinished / under construction. The sanctum sanctorum consists of a sanctum and a mukamandapam. The 2 tier Rajagopuram is in front of the temple. The Shiva temple is under Palalayam. The construction of the new Shiva temple was stopped for want of money.
