Ayyappa Pooja
Ayyappa Puja holds great significance. Ayyappan, also known as Dharmasasta, Maṇikanṭhan, or Sasta, is the offspring of Harihara, representing a fusion of both Shiva and Vishnu. Lord Ayyappan is considered an incarnation of Lord Sree Dharma Sastha and is venerated by people from various backgrounds, with a particular following among the Pandya Royal Community. It is believed that Lord Ayyappa embodies the essence of Sri Dharma Sastha. Lord Vishnu bestowed the newborn deity with a precious bell necklace, earning him the name Manikantha.
