Introduction

                             Sanjeevi Perumal Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Salamalai Hills near Chinnamanur Town in Theni District of Tamil Nadu. The Temple is situated on the top of the Salamalai Hills. Presiding Deity is Sanjeevi Perumal. He is gracing the devotees along with his consorts Lakshmi and Nachiyar. This Temple opens only on Saturdays. Devotees tie cradle here and pray to Lord Sanjeevi Perumal for seven consecutive Saturdays for Child boon. The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. The Temple is located at about 9 Kms from Chinnamanur, 9 Kms from Chinnamanur New Bus Stand, 21 Kms from Bodinayakanur Railway Station, 30 Kms from Theni, 30 Kms from Theni Railway Station, 107 Kms from Madurai and 124 Kms from Madurai Airport
