Introduction

Nallamur is 15 KM from Mathuranthagam. Mathuranthagam- Seyyur, Chengalpattu-district, Tamil Nadu. This shiva temple is in small Ruins shed. The primary deity is Lord Bheemeswarar, Nandi devar. A Sivalingam found in open place was recently sheltered in Nallamoor village, near Mathuranthagam. The Lord Bheemeswarar was worshipped by Bhima and hence the name. No other deities are here. A sacred temple pond is nearby the temple. Not even the poooja is performed here. No one seems to care for this shiva lingam. Some village people told that to renovated the shiva temple.
