Introduction

This Ancient Shiva Temple is located in the Mahatpuri Village in Gangakhed Taluka in Parbhani District of Maharashtra State. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. And this ancient temple is more than 1000 years old Shiva temple in Mahatpuri village. This Shiva temple is completely dilapidated condition. The shrines are lord shiva as in lingam form and broken ganesha are presented in the temple. The temple has been classified as a Monument of National Importance by the Archaeological survey of India (ASI).
