Introduction

Kothawada is located in Warangal from Karimnagar town and is well accessible by road. The main Siva temple on the other side of the road, there is another Trikuta temple. The existence of two Trikuta temples reveals the prominence of this place during the Chalukya and Kakatiya times. These are the classical examples of Kakatiya school of Art, bearing beautiful figures of Salabhanjikas. This shiva temple is completely in dilapidated condition. Here the primary deity is Lord shiva lingam. The special feature of the mandapa in the center of the temple is that it contains a cluster of four pillar.
