Introduction

Keezhur is a village located in the Thiruporur Circle, Kachipuram district in the state of Tamil Nadu. Keezhur village is located on the Guduvancherry- Kottamedu road and has a very old Shiva temple. They take the idols in the stone temple and place them in another place nearby for worship. The plowing work was done recently by removing the thorns around the temple. History has it that Indra worshiped Eesan here. The statue of Indra is also here. The Ganesha here is called the Poyyah Ganesha. Pradosa Puja has been started and is being held recently.
