Introduction

         Vennandur Muthukumaraswamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan, located in Vennandur village, Namakkal district in Tamil Nadu. The temple is under the control of the Department of Hindu Temples and is classified as a primary temple. Here the presiding deity is called as Muthukumaraswamy.  The Temple is believed to be 1000 years old. Kanda Sashti is the main festival celebrated in the month of August.
